The story of our growth
Our journey began with a childhood defined by hands-on learning. From Tonka trucks and tree forts to building skateboard ramps with our grandfathers tools, we were always driven to create. This practical foundation, combined with years of experience working hand in hand with some of Rochester’s top remodeling firms, led us to establish our own company in September 2014, fulfilling a lifelong ambition to build on our own terms.

Meet the Brothers
Josh Ranaletta
Josh's passion for building and fixing things started early. A graduate of WEMOCO trades school with a focus on plumbing, Josh transitioned directly into residential remodeling after high school. With years of experience working alongside established contractors, he possesses a solid foundation in home improvement. Outside of his professional life, Josh enjoys fishing and spending quality time with his family.
David Ranaletta
Dave's foundation in the trades also includes plumbing training at WEMOCO during high school and a five-year apprenticeship with local 46 Sheet Metal Union. His experience working with various contractors has honed his skills prior to Co founding JDR . When not on the job site or meeting with clients, he enjoys family, video games, and golf.
